This battle was nearly a one month long process. The reason for this battle was because the members of the Balkan states believed the land was being distributed unfairly.

The Second Balkan war was a fight over the division of the joint conquests, taking place in Macedonia. The war was between Serbia, Greece, and Romania on one side, and Bulgaria on the other. This war began overnight on June 29/30, 1913, when King Ferdinand of Bulgaria sent his troops to Macedonia to attack his rival forces of Serbia and Greece. The Bulgarians were defeated, and this defeat resulted in a peace treaty signed between the forces. Under the terms of this treaty, Macedonia was divided up mostly between Greece and Serbia, with only a small part given to Bulgaria. |
