The First Balkan War was between the members of the Balkan League and the Ottoman Empire. The Montenegro Kingdom declared war against the Ottoman Empire. Soon after, Bulgaria, Greece, and Serbia joined the Montenegrins. The Balkan League was formed. This league consisted of Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, joining the Montenegro Kingdom.

The Ottoman empire was declining, and together the Balkan States seized the land. The Balkan League created a force of 750,000 men, and on October 8, 1912, Montenegro along with the other members of the Balkan League declared war on Turkey. Limbs were torn from bodies, and eyes were torn from eye sockets. The war came to an end when Adrianople was captured. The Ottomans were pushed out of Europe by March of 1913. Europe's great powers created a treaty in London which ended hostilities by May. The Balkan League had achieved victory in the First Balkan War.
